BRANNON-CLARK NUPTIALS Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brannon announce the marriage of their daughter, Phoebe, to Jimmy Leon Clark of Clinton. The cere mony was performed Monday, September 16, at 7:00 p. m., at the Joanna Pentecostal parson age, with Rev. Floyd Brewer of ficiating, in the presence of the immediate family. Mrs. Clark chose for her wed ding navy blue chiffon with a white corsage and accessories. The groom is employed by Jo anna Mills and for the present the young couple is making their home with his parents in Clinton. MRS. WALLENZINE HONORED Mrs. J. H. Wallenzine was hon ored with a birthday dinner Sun day at the Little River-Dominick community building. PIN* AND BLUE PARTY Mrs. Clyde Whitmire of Lau rens, was honored with a pink and blue party Thursday night slf 7:30 at the home of Mrs. J. J. Whitmire. The honoree was pre sented a corsage of pink and blue lace-trimmed socks centered with a miniature baby by the hostesses upon arrival. During the course of the eve ning games and contests were enjoyed, after which refresh ments of cake, congealed salad, nuts, mints, crackers and iced tea we e served by the hostesses, Mrs. J. J. D. Bishop and Mrs. Allen Young. There wiU be a Brotherhood meeting at Hurricane Baptist Church Thursday (tonight) at 7:30. This is to be a supper meeting and all the church men are invited to be present as this is to be a planning meeting for the forthcoming revival. There will be an installation service at the Hurricane Bap tist Church Sunday for newly elected deacons.
