FIDELIS CLASS MEETS
The Fidelis Sunday school
class of Calvary Baptist Church
held the regular monthly meeting
last Thursday night at the home
of Mrs. Edgar BaUew in Lake-
wood. After the business was dis
cussed a covered dish supper was
enjoyed. Mrs. Joel Cox serves as
teacher of the group.
75TH ANNIVERSARY
On Monday evening, August 5,
members of the Calvary Baptist
Church Woman’s Missionary Un
ion enjoyed a tea in the social
hall in commemoration of the
75th anniversary of the organi
zation.

been stationed in France for
over three years. This was Mrs.
Byers’ first visit home in that
