He was a native of Greenville County, eon of the late William T. and Lena Mae James Burton. He was a veteran of World War having served In the Army, was a retired farmer and textile worker. He was n member of Union Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lonie Cooper Burton; three sons, W. Cortes, Joe and Julian Bur ton, all of Laurens; four daugh ters, Mrs. Arthur Layman of Co lumbus, Ind., Mrs. Lena Bass of Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. William Was son of Columbia and Mrs. Jack Gwinn Of Wattsville; a half- brother, Melvin Burton of Gray Court; two sisters, Mrs. McCon- nell O’Dell of Donalds and Mrs. Robert Henderson of Ware Shoals; and 13 grandchildren. Funeral services were conduct ed at 5 p. m. Tuesday at Union Baptist Church by Rev. Glenn Hosteller and Rev. Eddie Crapps. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mock Lee Senn Laurens — Mack Lee Senn, 81, of 21 Stevens St. died early Sunday afternoon at a Clinton hospital. A native of Laurens County, son of the late Thomas F. and Catherine McDowell Senn, he was a retired farmer and tex tile employe and a member of Presbyterian Grace Covenant Church. He was twice married. His firet marriage was to the late Mrs. Plumsr Weeks Senn. His second marriage was to Mrs. Anna Gwinn Senn, who died seven months ago. Surviving from his second marriage are four step sons, Odell Gwinn of Tulsa, Okla., Howard L. Gwinn of Fountain Inn, Charles W. Gwinn Of Lau rens and Lester Ray Gwinn of Pensacola, Fla.; and a brother Kemper Senn of Laurens . Funeral services were con ducted Tuesday at II a. m. at | dining health. Mrs. J. M.
