Mr. and Mrs. David Owens, Mr. and Mrs. Ray King will celebrate wedding anniversaries July 30. 441 HWHU6HTS The 27th State 4-H Conserva tion Camp will be held at Camp Bob Cooper, August 5-8, Conser vation Camp is primarily for older 4-H Club members who have shown an interest in con servation of our natural resour ces. While at camp the 4-H mem bers will have an opportunity to give demonstrations on some phase of conservation which they are most interested in. The delegates will attend group meetings and receive instruc tion in the following areas: Con servation of Home Grounds; Farm Wildlife, Production, Man agement and Conservation; Con servation of Your Life Through Wise Use of Your Resources; Fish Bait and How To Fish; and Soil and Water Conservation. One of the highlights of the camp program is a field trip on Wednesday. This trip will include visits to the lumber companies, saw mills, Retreat Beach, Brook- green Gardens, a paper company and other places of interest. Some of the outstanding speak ers for Conservation Camp will be: Dr. W. H. Wylie, Dean of Agriculture, Clemson College; A. T. Chalk, Asst. State Conser vationist; and Dr. Charles L. Horne, President of Federal Cart ridge Corp^ The delegates attending from Laurens County will be: Steve Wright from Shady Grove Club, Michael Parks, Thornwell; Caro lyn Moore, Cross Hill Sr. Club, Libby Taylor, County-wide 4-H Club.
