Preston White, Jr. has com pleted his ‘•Boot” training at San Diego, Calif, and is spending a 10 day leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Preston White, Sr. Mrs. Alvin Bedenbaugh and Linda spent last Friday in Green ville. Misses Barbara and Elnins Boyce students at Winthrop Col lege, Rock Hill, are spending the summer months with their par ents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Boyce. Mrs. Ruth Mitchell, Misses Eu genia and Ginger Byars with Mrs. John Clark of Clinton and Johnny Buchanan of Florence left Saturday by jet for a two weeks visit with Miss Dorothy Clark in San Francisco, Calf. Mrs. Delia Russell was honor ed with a surprise birthday party on May 19th at the lake cabin of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Bedenbaugh on Lake Murray. Miss Linda Bedenbaugh will leave on June 3rd for Columbia where she will attend a beauty school. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Phillips spent several days last week in Blackstone, Va. with their daugh ter and son-in-law, Rev. and Mrs. Russell Dean and daugh ter.
