Peorson Laurens — James Grover Pear son, 49, owner and operator of Pearson Photographic Service, was found dead during the night, while at work, apparently of a heart attack. Native and lifelong resident of Laurens County, son of the late B. R. and Nancy Johnson Pear son, he was a member of Palmet to Lodge, 19, AFM, and the Ha- jaz Temple of the Shrine. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rosa Lee Nabors Pearson; one son, J. Ted Pearson of Laurens; one daughter, Mrs. Shirley Price of Laurens; two sisters, Mrs. George Bagwell of Clinton and Mrs. Horace Herbert of Larensu; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were conduct ed Friday at 5 p.m. at the Ken nedy Mortuary by Rev. Eddie Crapps and Rev. Ray Craine. Burial was in Forest Lawn Ceme tery. Palmetto Lodge conducted graveside rites. A native of Laurens County, son of the late Mathew and Mary Etta Whaley Knight, he was a retired textile employe who work ed for the State Highway Depart ment many years. He was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lillie Fuller Knight; four daugh ters, Miss Mary Knight of the home, Mrs. Doris Lee of Ander son, Mrs. Aaron Peay of Whit mire and Mrs. William L. Hardin of Spartanburg; three brothers, Roy Knight of Columbia, Conway Knight of Owings and Berry Knight of Fountain Inn; five sis ters, Mrs. Lillian Lynch of Lau rens, Mrs. Nannie Kay Temple ton of Pinson, Ala., and Mrs. Ru fus Eskew and Mrs. Willie Bag- well, both of Pelzer, and Mrs. Wesley Davis of Greenville; and five grandchildren.
