Harold McQueen Shields has returned home from several days visit to Asheville, N. C. Mrs. W. L. Marshall and Mrs. C. M. BaUey had as their guests last week, Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Lea and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lea of Rocky Mount, N. C. While here they attended the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Casque are spending a few days in Charles, ton. Rev. and Mrs. J. H. Darr visit ed their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Smith and family in Charleston, recently. Mr. and Mrs. L. O. Wheeler of Laurens were here Sunday with their son and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. James Wolfe, having come especially to see their grandson, Jimmie become a member of the Broad St. Methodist Church. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Butler of Charleston visited friends here over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Wilmot Shealy, Sr. returned home after a stay in Columbia. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Smith are moving to their new home on Lakewood Drive. Billy Pitts, student at Wofford College, lias here over the week end visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Pitts, Jr. Jimmy and Denise Wolfe will be spending Easter weekend with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Wheeler in Laurens. Jean Wolfe will be visiting with Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Wolfe, also in Laurens. Mr. and Mrs. Wyman Shealy, Jr., and children, Mike, Eleanor, and Binky of Orangeburg spent the week-end with the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wyman Shealy • Mrs. M. L. Friends of Mrs. S. C. Hays will be interested to, know she was called to China Grove, N. C., during the week-end on account of the death of her brother, L. H. Johnson. Mrs. R. E. Fakkema has re turned from a visit in Richmond, Va., and Washington, D. C. While in Washington she was the guest of her sister, Mrs. R. S. Eagle, Jr., and visited the Art Museum and the Cherry Blossom Festival. Duck Adair, cadet at The Cita del, Charleston, arrives today for Spring holidays with his par ents, Mr. and Mrs. I. M. Adair. Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Fakkema and family will spend the holi days at Jekyll Island, Ga. Join ing them will be the Rev.
