Mrs. Ernest Chaney has re
turned from a several months
visit with her daughter, Mrs. S.
P. Bee man and Mr. Bee man in
Pittsburgh, Pa.. She was called
home due to the death of her
sister, Mrs. R. L. Cole.
Mr. and Mrs. George Lane
were called to Avohdale Estates,
Ga., yesterday on account of the
death of the former’s grandmoth
er, Mrs. Maggie Walker.
Mrs. R. C. Hamer of Charles
ton, is visiting her son and
daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. R.
P. Hamer, Jr.

with a broken limb sustained in
an accident.

spent the week-end in Myrtle
Beach visiting Mr. Hubbard’s
sister, Mrs. F. G. Hughes.
Mrs. J. B. Wilder and Mrs. J.
K. Haselden went to Anderson to
get Mrs. Haselden’s daughter,
Lois, student at Anderson Col
lege. From there they visited
friends in Seneca.
J. K. Haselden visited his son

lumbia Sunday.
Miss Essie Davdison has been
a patient at the Greenville Gen-
ral Hospital. She is how con
valescing at home.
Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Wells,
Sr., spent a few days last week
ih Miami, Fla., with the for
mer’s brother, Frank Wells,
and Mrs Wells. Mr. Wells is
seriously ill and a patient at the
Jackson Memorial Hospital
there.
