Spillers is spend ing a few days with her daugh ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Reynolds and family. Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds’ son is a hos pital patient. Mr. and Mrs. Horace C. Smith and family attended the funeral of Mr. Smith’s cousin, Mrs. John Peay, in Rock Hill Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Simmons of Melrose, Florida, were week end visitors of Mrs. Simmons’ siter, Mrs. J. F. Weir. Miss Ann Turner spent the week-end with Miss Della Mae Skinner in Pembroke, Georgia. Mr. and Mrs. Joel Cox visit ed Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Canfied in Abbeville and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Rush in Greenwood, Sun day. Mrs. Claude Wallenzine, Mrs. Maxie Wallenzine, Kim and Lo ne, and Lewis Wallenzine were visitors of Mrs. Geneva Coker in Greenwood, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Elma Queen and Jerry and Pam Cunningham visited Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Queen in Cow pens, Sunday. Mrs. R. M. Sullivan has return ed home after several weeks visit with her son, Rufus Sullivan and family in Kings tree. Mrs.. Sulli van and children returned with her for a short visit. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Barnett and Mr. and Mrs. P. F. Ramage at tended the Gambrell-Davis wed ding Friday night. Cleves Wilkes spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Sher- field of Pembroke, Ga. Beth Trammell spent the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Trammell. Keith Stewart and Tommy Og- burn, a classmate, of Gardner- Webb College, were visitors of Keith’s relatives over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Don Snelgrove and family, of Spartanburg, were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Snel grove. Mrs. Harriett King, has return ed after a visit in York. Mrs. E. G. A.’s OBSERVE FOCUS WEEK From February 10th through February 16th the Y. W. A.’s of Calvary Baptist Church will ob serve “Focus Week’’. On Sunday morning, February 10th, the de votional s in the Young People’s add Intermediate’s Sunday School Departments will be con ducted by Judy Laney and Nancy Bagwell. A visitation period will be on Monday night. The regu lar monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday night at 7:30 at the home of Ann Meadow, 400 Sloan Street. The Wednesday night prayer service will be conducted by the Y. W. A.’s. The week’s activities will be climaxed with a party in thejChurch Social Hall on Saturday night. All girls from ages 16 through 24 are invited to attend. x , cast with James A. Huey is on radio station WPCC each Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p. m. Joel Cox and Mrs. Eva Land, of Calvary Baptist Church, will render the musical service, Feb. 10th. w. s. c. s. Meeting Mrs. Julian Weisner was hos tess to the members of the Wo man’s Society of Christian Ser vice on Monday night at the par sonage. Miss Joyce Dunaway gave a very interesting program on “What Should We Tell Our Children About Race.” ' The hostess $erved delicious re freshments. FAMILY NIGHT SUPPER Bailey Memorial Methodist Church will observe Family Night Saturday night at 7:00 o’clock at the church. This will be a covered dish supper. All families are urged to attend. W.
