Shealy, Jr., of New berry College, spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Shealy. ' Mr. and Mrs. P. F. Swygert spent Sunday in the mountains of North Carolina. Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Horne and son of Colonial Beach, Va., spent several days last week with the former’s sister, Mrs. Willie O’Dell and also visited another sister, Mrs. Minnie Bridges, at the Lake side Rest Home in Lexington. Mrs. Harry Kelly has returned home from the Newberry hospital where she underwent eye surgery. Mrs. Obie Dyches and twin daughters, Beth and Gaye, of Lugoff, spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Phillips. Rev. Dyches Joined them and Monday and he and Mrs. Dyches leh fidr Blackstone, Va., to visit rK and Mrs. Russell Dean and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Gogan spent the week-end in Anderson with the former’s aunt, Mrs. Eu nice Taylor. A2C and Mrs. C. B. Cole Jr., and daughters of Charleston, spent the week-end with his pa rents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Cole. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Craig of Greenville, Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Craig of Augusta, Ga., spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Craig. On Saturday they helped C. J. Craig celebrate his 80th birthday. Friends will be interested to know Mrs. Carlton Wehunt is a patient in Bailey Memorial hos pital for observation. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Lathrop and children of Aiken, spent the week-end with the former’s pa rents, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. We hunt. Mr. and Mrs. L. V. Mills of Newberry, were Sunday supper guests of the former’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. Champ Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Martin and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Martin visited their mother and grandmother, Mrs. Milam Owens, in Easley on Sunday and helped celebrate her 64th birth day. MRS. NABORS RETURNS HOME Friends will be interested to know that Mrs. Grover C. Nabors has returned home after an ex tended visit to her sons, Dr. and Mrs. G. C. TRIP TO CALIFORNIA know that Rev. and Mrs..John Warren have returned home after a two and a half weeks visit with their daughter, Mrs. Floyd Gau thier, and family in Palmdale. Calif. Enroute to California, the Warren stopped off at Columbus, Miss., Air Bbm and their son. Airman 1C James C. Warren, ac companied them on the trip. While in California, the War rens visited Disneyland and went fishing they slopped in V ' rears ren. Airman Wi led his parents home for a week’s visit before reporting back to Ms base. Airman Melton, who completed the first phase of hie military training here, was selected for the specialized course on the basis of Ms interests and aptitudes.
