Mrs. John Dickerswti of Spar tanburg, was the week-end guest of bar daughter, Mrs. Clarence Hinson, and Mr. Hinson Jack White and daughters Misses Linda and Martha White, and Miss Evelyn White spent Sat urday in Gaffney with relatives Timmy Sanders spent last week with Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Outs in Roebuck. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Carroll and children of near Pendsfton, have returned home after several days visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Abercrombie. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wil liams and children of Newberry, were Thursday guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Williams Mrs. David Word, Miss Sue Word and Miss Marie Weir spent Saturday in Greenville. BUI Brinkley is visiting his sister, Mrs. J. Gregg, and Mr. Gregg in Macon, Ga. Mr. and Mrs. Billie Brown and sons of Greenwood, visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Culbertson, and sister, Mrs. Jean Harris, on Saturday. Mrs. Cul bertson is ill at her home. Mr. and Mrs. Junior Thomas and family of Greenville, were week-end visitors of Mr. Thomas’ mother, Mrs. Emmie Thomas. Carol Pace has also been visiting her aunt, Mrs. Thomas. Mrs. Rada Bennett of Ellicott City, Md., is visiting her grand daughter, Mrs. Margie Morgan, and other relatives. Mrs. J. H. Seay and Miss Pero- Uhe Seay of Greenville, are spending the week with Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Trammell and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Seay. Mr. and Mrs. William Stone and children of Anderson, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Trammell. Tenna and Teresa Kelley spent a recent Sunday with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Motte. Boris Motte of Savannah, Ga., spent Tueslay and Wednes day with the C. L. Mottes. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Riddle and Mr. and Mrs. Carolus Davis were recent visitors at Maggie Valley and Ghost Town, N. C. Spec, and Mrs. William Lewis and family, formerly of Puerto Rico, have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. T. O. Williams and Mr. and Mrs. BUI Patterson and other relatives prior to going to Fort McClellan, Ala., where Spec. Lewis will be stationed for the next 12 months. Russett Trammell, Leon Faulk and Larry Landrtth spent the week-end at Myrtle Beach. While there they visited the former's cousin, Mrs. Pete Arnold, and Mr. Arnold. Recent guests of Rev. and Mrs. ftoscoe Bryan were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Johnson, of Hod^r., and other relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Edwards of Troy; Mrs W. C. Hulsey, Jr., of Green wood; and Mrs. Marion Brown of Norfolk, Va. Mrs. Lois Webb, Mrs. Marvin Neal, Mrs. Wilton King and Niles Richie were in Columbia Friday to see Mrs. Webb's son, Pvt. Tony Webb, and Mrs. Neal’s son, Pvt. Jimmy Neal, graduate fol low ng eight weeks basic training at Fort Jackson. While in Colum bia they aU visited W. R. Webb, who is seriously ill in the Baptist hospital.
