Report Mailed This Week SUPPORT AND VOTE FOR DAVID S. TAYLOR Candidate For HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES I Born and reared on a form, David S. Taylor is a textile worker, church and civic leader and family man who is vitaNy interested in the affairs of Laurens County and anxious to serve his fal low man in the General Assembly. Here is how he stands on vital issues: David S. Taylor knows first hand the problems of tbe working man, dependent on regular employment for his weekly pay chock, and tbe problems faced by management in this day of greater Competition, botb at home and abroad. David S. Taylor believes tbe business of Laurens County should be conducted in a business-like manner. He does not believe the County should borrow money to pay current operating expanses. The levying of taxes to pay interest on money that it should not have been necessary to borrow is a burden that should not be long tolerated. If elected, he wilt give to the affairs of Laurens County the careful attention that these affairs so justly deserve and lend best efforts to see that Laurens County bos a balanced supply bid. David S. Taylor believes better education is the foundation on which we must build Laurens County. He wife work for increased appropriations for the salaries of our teachers and for other school purposes before it becomes necessary for parents to circulate petitions to vote in creased taxes. David S. Taylor will work closely with the County and State Hanning and Development Boards to bring new, diversified industries to our County. The economy of our County can be raised only by the creation of new jobs and new homes, because the working man and our sanior citizens dependent on social security have about the maximum tax loud that can bo carried. He will not do anything to jaopardtae the old established industries in our County that have bane the backbone of our economy over the years.
