The children enjoyed games and con tests, directed by the hostess. Re freshments of hamburgers, chips, and cold drinks were served the group by the hostess, assisted by Mrs. J. C. Lollis. As the eve ning drew to a close they gather ed around the tree, sang carols and exchanged gifts The chll dren also received a gift from the teacher. FAMILY GATHERING Mr. and Mrs. Gene Bishop were hosts at a family gathering and dinner on Christmas Eve. Those attending included Mr and Mrs L. H. Rinehart, Sr, Mr and Mrs. Bodie Rinehart and son, Russ, Mr. and Mrs. L. H Rine hart, Jr, and daughters. Gloria and Melanie, and Douglas Rine hart of Batesburg; Mrs. McNeal Trotter and son, Dickie, and Ter ry Patterson of Joanna TEENAGE CHRISTMAS PARTY Thirty-two teenagers gathered at the Joanna club house Friday night for the Christmas party. The party rooms were decorat ed in the Christmas motif. The group enjoyed dancing and party games. Mrs. S. A. League and Mrs. Frances Warner, club coun selor, served refreshments con sisting of cookies, chips and punch, after which they gathered around the tree and exchanged gifts. CHRISTMAS EVE DINNER PARTY Mr. and Mrs. John Gaskin en tertained members of the fam ily on Christmas eve with a din ner party at their home. Those attending were: Mr and Mrs. Bu ford Weir, Mr .and Mrs. Cecil Farmer and Peanut, Mis Becky Farmer. Mr. and Mrs. Rudolf Prater and Kent, of Joanna; Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Farmer of Clin ton; David Estes of Joanna and Memphis, Tenn.
