BANKS George H Banks, 67. of West Peachtree Ave., Woodruff, died in a local hospital after three months of ill health. A native of Jefferson County, Tenn., he was a son of the late Joseph H. and Margaret Fran ces Banks. He was an employe of Mills Mill here prior to his re tirement due to ill health. Surviving are his widow, Mrs Her Tinsley Banks; five daugh ters, Mrs. Gordon Few, Mrs. Leonard Campbell and Mrs. Charles Garland, all of Wood ruff; Mrs. James Henry, of Clin ton, and Mrs Edwin Waddell, of Greenville; a sister, Mrs Clara Smith, of Enoree, and 12 grand children. Funeral services were conduct ed Tuesday afternoon at 4 p. m. at Mills Mill Baptist Church by Rev. Joe Vaughan and Rev. Ho bart Hunter. Burial was in Wood ruff Memorial Gardens.
