Ga., daughter of Mrs. James Dunaway, is a patient at the University Hospital in Augusta, Ga. Miss Elizabeth Leopard is sick at her home on N. Broad Street. Miss Lurlene Woody is sick at her home Mrs. James Johnson is sick at her home Pam and Gary Cunningham, children of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cunningham, have been sick at their home. W. Sept 9, the Jun ior Department of the Training Union of Calvary Baptist Church with their leader, Fred Tumblin and invited guests went for an outing at the Baptist Assembly grounds Twenty-three boys and girls enjoyed an afternoon of swimming, boating, touch foot ball and singing. A bountiful picnic lunch was enjoyed Invited guests that helped chaperon the large crowd were Mrs Fred Tumblin, Mrs. C. T. Satterfield, Mr. and Mrs Mac Nelson and Dorsey Turner Fred Tumblin drove the church bus BIRTHDAYS L C. Sept. 9, Mrs. Jimmie Hughes v,as honor ed with a pink and blue shower at the home of their grandmoth er, 100 Florence St. The honoree was presented a corsage upon arrival made of pink carnations, miniature items with blue ribbons.
