Dixon has urged that the pres ent 14-member board be displac ed by a five-member group. Rep. Abercrombie has fought that pro posal. Rep. Graydon introduced a compromise measure which would reduce the number of members over a period of time until the membership reached, and leveled off, at five. Commenting on Sen. Dixon’s failure to accept that measure, Rep. Graydon said: “His action proved to me that it doesn’t really matter about the number of trustees, but he wants control of the hospital board.” Abercrombie expressed similar OFFICE SUPPLIES V CHRONICLE PUB.
