Friday. Bobbie left on Saturday
for Fort Bliss, Texas, where he
will be stationed for the next
few months.

the Thanksgiving holidays with
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Her-

as, where they visited their
daughter, Mrs. J. C. Stroud, who
is a surgical patient at the Meth
odist Hospital.

VISIT CHILDREN’S HOME
On Sunday 17 Juniors and
older Primaries of Epworth
Methodist Sunday School enjoy
ed a trip to the Methodist Chil
dren’s Home in Columbia. They
carried a nice box of gifts for
the home. They attended the
morning worship service, had a
tour of the home and also had
dinner at the home.
Those accompanying the chil
dren on the trip were Mrs. Joy
Abrams, Mr. and Mrs. Hack
Prater, Mrs. Hubert Godfrey,
Mrs. Pope Moates, Mrs. Rudolph
Prater and Harmon Murrah, Jr.
CHURCH OF GOD HAS
REVIVAL
Revival aervices are now in
progress at the Church of God
in Joanna and will continue
through December 3. The pas
tor, Rev. Howard J. Handley,
extends a cordial invitation to
the public to attend these ser
vices. There will be a different
speaker each evening and also
special music and singing be
ginning at 7 p. m. Wbrne and
bring some one with you.
