Interest Concerning Local Residents Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gasque and &f*nt the week-end In Charleston and visited relatives in the lower part of the state. Miss Gasque at tended the Ring Hop at the Cita del on Friday evening and they also attended the PC-Citadel game on Saturday Hubert Adair ol Greenville, spent Sunday with his father, R. P. Adair^ and Mrs. Adair. Also visiting here for the day ot help celebrate Mrs. Adair's birthday * were her two sons and their fam ilies, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Page, Ceceha and Mary, of Charlotte, Mr and Mrs John Page, John Edward, Nina Marie and Diana of Little Mounatin. Miss Georgia Young, who at tends Erskine College. Due West, spent the week-end with her par ents, Mr. and Mrs. John T. Young. AT CONVENTION Mr. and Mrs. Cecil P. Wilson are in Columbia for the South Carolina Restaurant Association convention which is being held for two days, Npv. 2 and 3. Mrs. Bell Henderson and son spent Sunday in Charlotte, N. C., with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Far- fow. Mb-, and Mrs. C. E. Law and sonj John, were week-end guests of relatives in Hampton. On Satur day Mr. and Mrs. Law attended Parents Day and the football game pt the Citadel, where their son, Charlton, ts a sophomore. Chapman were in Sumter during the week end to attend the American Legion Fall Rally. While there they also visited the Eastern Star Home for the Aged. Mr. and Mrs. Joel Cox were in Charleston during the week-end to see their son, Joel, and to attend Parents Day at The Citadel. They were accompanied by Miss Lena Copeland of this city and Winthrop, who also attended the Ring Hop and the PC-Citadel game. RESIDE IN CLINTON Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Strange and sons, Willard and Samuel, are now occupying a residence at 412 North Broad Street. Mr. Strange is con nected with the Belk-Simpson store at Whitmire. Miss Terrell Cook of this city and Converse, was .the week-end guest of friends in Mt. Pleasant, going especially to attend the Ring Hop and the PC-Citadel game. Misses Mary Ella Bailey of!
