Ray Pitts and her daughter, Miss Myra Pitts, entertained with a love ly luncheon on Saturday at Hotel Mary Musgrove. Miss Pitts will | serve as a bridesmaid when Miss Waldrop is married to Charles Ray Lawrence, of Central, on August 27 at the First Baptist Church of Laur ens. f Pink and white zinnias and dah lias were artistically arranged in the dining room to carry out the cho sen color scheme. Tiny flowers were attached to the bridal place cards which marked places of 12 guests for the three course luncheon. The bride-elect’s place was desig nated with a white carnation cor sage. A white cover over pink over laid the luncheon table which held a floral centerpiece in epergne ef fect, composed of sweet seventeen roses, gypsophilia and tube roses. Pale pink gladioli and tube roses in terspersed with lacy wedding bells were used at the lower level to ex tend along the center of the table. A gift of crystal was presented the guest of honor Invited for the occasion were: Mrs M. C. Waldrop, the bride-elcct‘s mother.
