IN NEW HOME Dr .and Mrs. David T. Mixon and children, Phyllis and David, have moved into their recently completed new home on the Jacobs Highway. Miss Peggy Mclnvaille, of this city, member of the Lancaster school faculty is attending the South Carolina home economics teachers meeting at Winthrop College this week. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gasque and Miss Celia Gasque have returned from a few days visit with the former’s sister, Mrs. G. F. Harvey and Mr. Harvey at Cross. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey and daughter. Elaine were visitors here during the past week and Mrs Harvey remained for the week-end returning to Cross with the Casques. VISIT PARENTS Mr and Mrs Dan Yarborough. Jr., and children. Jimmy. Stewart on Monday having been called to Laurens Saturday on ac count of the death of their sister, Mrs. G. H. Finley. Also with Mrs. Stewart on Monday were Mrs. Ben Cunningham of Laurens and Mrs. Larry Martin of Roebuck. FERRITERS HERE > Mr. and Mrs. Tom Ferriter and children, Lisa and Billy, of Cas- sablanca. Morocco are spending some time with her mother, Mrs. W. A. Dicus after visiting the former’s parents, in Hamden, Conn. They leave Saturday accompanied by Miss Kat Dicus for a weeks stay at Hilton Head. They will re turn to Cassablanca next month. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Blakely and children of Charleston were called here Monday because of the death of Mrs. Blakely’s grandmother, Mrs J. H. Stump and daughters left yesterday to join Dr. Stump at his family’s summer cottage on the Chesapeake Bay near Baltimore, Mid , and will take a trip through New York state, to Naigara Falls and Canada, visiting relatives en- route. After August 3 Margaret and Mary Bart Stump will remain for a visit with their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs George Allison, at Elm brook. Haverston, N. Y.
