Bynum Betts for the June program of the Ladies Bible Class of the Associate Re formed Presbyterian Church. The meeting was held on Mon day evening at the church with Mrs. A. B. Blakely and Mra. John T. Young as hostesses. Following the program, during a social hour a salad course, cookies Imd punch were served. Entertains Bridge Club Thursday Entertaining members of her club and .other guests. Mrs. Reese H. Young was hostess for three ta bles of bridge on Thursday after noon of the past week. The card rooms were attractive throughout with arrangements of daisies and varicolored zinnias. Between the progressions punch, sandwiches and sweets were enjoy ed. Winner of visitors score was Mrs. Chris Adair, Jr., while club award went to Mrs. John L. Mim- naugh. Mrs. W. G. King, Jr., won consolation.
