A rising senior, he was named in a recent campus-wide election to succeed Bob Bean, of Marietta. Ga . in this position Hammett will edit the 1961 PC annual. The same election tapped Marion Lee. a rising senior from Heming way, to become business manager of The PaC-SaC. He replaces Cliff Stovall, of Mullins. The PaC-SaC. annual yearbook production of the Presbyterian Col lege student body, rolls off the press each spring shortly before com mencement exercises. Editor Bean’s 1960 edition is scheduled for distri bution in mid-May. Arch H. Dickinson Lanford — Arch Henry Dickinson. 55, died at his home Wednesday at 9:30 a m. after a long illness. He was an employee of the C&WC Railway for 34 years, retiring six years ago. He was a member of the Lanford Baptist Church and past worshipful master of Enoree Ma sonic Lodge and past patron of East ern Star Chapter 217. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ethel Lanford Dickinson; his mother, Mrs. R. C. Dickinson of North Augusta; two sons, two daughters, four sis ters and five grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Friday at 4:00 p. m. at the Lanford Baptist Church by, the Rev. W. W. Willingham and the Rev. R. L. Mc- Gaha.
