In the dining room vhite and pink camellias were ef fective. On the table covered with a white linen cut work cloth were pink* tapers in crystal candelabra and the birthday cake decorated in white, pink and green. Pink per fection camellias were used around | the candelabra and the cake. The birthday cake was cut and served along with a salad course and hot tea. Assisting Mrs. Hol combe in serving were Mrs. Cecil Wilson and Mrs. Murphy Timmer man. A shower of gifts in a white lace ufflbrella adorned with lavender pom-poms and ribbons, was pre sented to the honoroe. City Missions Studied By Methodist Circle “City Missions” was the topic of study when the Sara Glenn Circle Broad Street Methodist Church met on Monday evening in the Feb ruary session at the home of Mrs. Louise HUton. English have announced the marriage of their daughter, Reaby Monteen, to James Perry Workman on Thursday, Feb ruary 4 in Laurens. The ceremony was J. Hewelette Wasson. . Mr. Workman is employed by the Chronicle Publishing Company and the couple is residing at 113 Milling Avenue. W. Harris. Sprays of quince and camellias were attractively arranged in the receiving rooms of the home. Mrs. James L. Walker, presi dent, presided over the business ses sion. A discussion-w4Ht>be held con cerning a white elephant and bake sale at the May meeting, with final decision reserved until the March meeting.
