W. Staton, on North Broad street. Miss Florence Winn, a junior at Agnes Scott College, Decatur, Ga., is at home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs, Carlton F. Winn, for the Christmas season. Mrs. Dolan Jones of Monroe, N. C., visited Frank Falls Hicks, and other friends here on Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Hogan and (laughters wiB spend Christmas Day in Aberdeen, N. C., with Mrs. Ho gan’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Farrell. Teresa and Frances will remain for a longer visit with their grants rents. Captain Elberta N. Sease of Fort Gordon, Ga , nurses corps, will ar rive the 23rd for a visit with her sister, Mrs. 0. C. Woodruff, and nephew, Gerald Woodruff, who is at home from Newberry College. Miss Margaret Kent Bell will be a guest of her niece, Mrs. John B Jordan .and Mr. Jordan in Kinston, N. C., for the holidays. Misses June Adair of the Sumter schools faculty, and Mary Keith Adair .student nurse at the General Hospital, Greenville, wii beat home for the hohdays with their father, E. Keith Adair, and Mra. Adair. Mr. and Mrs. Rembert S. Truluck joined other members of Mrs. Tru- luck’s family in McCormick at the home of her mother, Mrs. Jack Scruggs on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Reed, of De catur, Ga., are spending the holi days with Mrs. Reed’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Leland Young. Also at home are Miss Lenna Young, stu dent at Converse, and Jimmy Young, student at Davidson. Mr. and Mrs. N. C. Wood and sons, of Talladega, Ala . will arrive Sunday to spend a few days with their daughter, Mrs. Bailey Dixon and Mr. Dixon. George Blalock, a junior at Dav idson College, and Milling Blalock, a freshman at the University of the South. Sewanee, Tenn., are at home with their parents, Dr. and Mrs. George R. Blalock for Christmas. Mr. and Mrs., A. C. Young and daughter, Kay, leave the 22nd for a holiday visit with Mrs. Young’s par ents, Mr. and Mrs. L. W. McClure, in Sylacauga, Ala. A. C. McMaster of Washington, D. C., will join his family here at the home, 710 E. Florida St, for the Christmas season. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. John Franklin’s combo furnished music. A large Christmas tree, and bells filled with balloons, poinsettias, and evergreens fashioned a festive holiday setting.
