Army Reserve Center, at the corner of the Whitmire and Spartan burg highways, at 7 o’clock, Tues day evening, December 29, spon sored by Company C, 1st Battle Groups, 32 2nd Infantry Regiment. Especially invited are all senior boys of Laurens, Clinton, and Jo anna, their friends and parents and any others who are interested. Films to be shown include: Combat film, "The Last 40 Days —Korea.” ‘The Pentomic Arm,” showing actual firing of rockets, missiles, etc., in color. “Your Son,” outlining the military obligations of all young men under the Universial Military Training Act of 1955 and how it may be fulfilled in your own home town without interrupting ed ucation. Cost, Regular Army Advisor for the USAR Unit in Clin ton, will be present to answer any questions regarding military obliga tions under the Universal Military Training Act of 1955. SFC. Cost is a veteran of 17 years of military service, seeing combat service in World War II and Korea and has served in his present assignment for four years. Kindergarten Party Today At Joanna The annual Joanna Baptist Church kindergarten Christmas party for parents and children will be held in the kindergarten room today (Thursday) at 5:30 p. m.
