Leighton, will be interested to know he is a patient at the General Hospital, Greenville, where he will undergo an operation this morning. Miss Neile Fuller of Charleston, spent a few days last week with her mother. Mrs. B. T Fuller. Mts. Zeno Craddock visited her daughter, Mrs. J. A. Simpson, and Mr. Simpson in McCormick during the week-end. Mrs. I. B. Copeland, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Holland and Phil Hol land spent Sunday with George Holland, a student at Cross more School, Crossmore, N. C. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Roland Chandler of Eliz abeth, N. J., visited his slater, Mrs. O. F Beaty, and Mr. Beaty several days last week. He was accompan ied by Bob Peyton of Belle Meade, N. J. On Wednesday evening they were joined for dinner by Mr and Mrs. Roy Labow of Santuc. Mr. and Mrs. George M Flan agan of Hendersonville, N. C., were guests on Sunday of Miss Florrie Burdette. Mrs. Morgan Todd was the recent guest of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Todd in Jackson, Miss., for a ten-day stay mother. Mr. Martin, a forester, is connected with the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company. A native of Salem Cross Roads, he is a grad uate of Clemson Colege.
