If public reaction is good, before long you, too, might hear electronic “beeps” instead of the “bongs” and chimes you now hear when you use a pay phone. This jf just one of many experiments being conducted in a continuing re search program to make your telephone service more effi cient and more pleasant. Flat Rack Baptist Church, Sanford, N C., will lead the song services. The public is cordially invited to these services. Rev. M. J Sanders is pastor of | the host church. Here’s what happens when four super-highways meet—a far cry from that simple “plus mark” we used to call an intersection! Life is becoming more complex, isn’t it? No longer ia it simply a matter of finding the right road. Today you can’t even get on the right road until you find the right approach. And you had better be mighty sure of the direction you want to go, or youll find your self speeding away from your destination on a turn pike that permits no U-turn. As life has become more complex, the value of a deep and abiding religioua conviction has become more evident. Against a bsckground of confuaion and un certainty the confident assurance of Christian faith is sharply silhouetted. e And the millions who have turned to the Church for truth and guidance have made s thrilling diacovery. The Way of Christ ia atill just as clear, direct, and inspiring ss it was to those who heard it first by the Galilean road. Copynitst I ft*. Kasatae Ad*, torric*. SfrM4uf4. V*.
