First prozes for costume and characterization went to Mrs. Geo. 'K Blalock of this city and Thomas Babb of Laurens. Decorations also carried out the theme wijh sunflowers in crockery containers, checkered table cloths and drapes with patches. During the evening dancing was enjoyed and refreshments served in buffet style. Sunflowers and arti choke were used on the table. Young-Thomas Rites Take Place at Joanna In a setting of white flowers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas of Joanna, Miss Betty Sue Young and John Earl Thomas were eunited in marriage on Saturday, . Plans Meet, Trip To Union The Ladies' Golf Association of Lakeside Country Club will have its regular monthly meeting Tuesday.
