O Kinard of Joanna, as co-hostess. The meeting was opened with the Lord's Prayer, after which Mrs. C. C. Smith led the program on the top ic, “Around the World in Christian Education.’’ She was assisted by Mrs. A. C. Workman, Jr. Mrs. S. P. Bowers, vice-president, presided in the absence of the pres ident, Mrs. F. M. Boland. New offi cers of the organization which will be headed by Mrs. A. C. Workman, Jr., will take over at the next meet ing. A social hour and refreshments were enjoyed at the close of the meeting. Bridal Luncheon At Mitchell Home A bridall luncheon was given at the home of Mrs. James Mitchell in Joanna on Saturday, June 13. Those honored were Misses Helen and Doris Phillips of Charlotte and Joanna; Myrtle Murphy of the Med ical College of Georgia.
