Edwards, brother of Mrs Hugh Simpson, passed away in Un ion on Sunday. Funeral services were held there on Monday after noon. Mrs. J. B. Nicholson spent several days last week in Greenville with her daughter, Mrs. J. Mac Rabb, Jr. Mrs. Paul M. Muller and daugh ter, Beverly, were called to Lex ington, Ky., recently because of the death of a friend, Delos Orcutt. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Pitts, Linda, Gayle, Eron, and Emary of Greens boro, N. C., are visiting the former’s mother, Mts. W. Roy Pitts, Sr., this week. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stanley and children of Hartsville, spent several days last week with Mrs. Stanley’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Neigh bors. Friends of Hugh S. Jacob* win re gret to know he suffered a hand in jury in a fall recently. Mrs L. T. Watford, Jr., and little son, Mike, of Florence, are spending two weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs W. M. Burts. Addy of Lake land, Fla., formerly of Clinton, will be interested to know he received a BS degree from Florida Southern College at graduating exercises 'there last week. George has accepted an accounting civil service position with the Veterans Admniistration.
