Milam, Jr, and dau ghters, Misses Linda, Jane, and Sally, were overnight visitors in Co lumbia on Friday with Mrs. Milam’s sister, Mrs. T. R. Hagler, and fam ily. Mr and Mrs. Goyne L. Simpson had as their guests during the past week the latter’s sister, Mrs. George Hesse, of Charleston, her brother, Virgil Wall, and Mrs. Wall, of Bir mingham, Ala. Mr. Hesse joined them here for the week-end Sgt. Major and Mrs. Boyd Buz- flardt of Parris Island, were guests last week of the former’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James H. Buzhardt. Bagwell will be glad to know he is at home after an operation Illness and stay of several months at the Veterans hos pital, Columbia. Mr. Bagwell will return in two weeks for a second operation. Tom G. Pitts of Lynchburg, Va., Mr. and Mrs. Mark Pitts and sons of Aiken, visited their mother, Mrs. P. M. Pitts, during the week-end. On Saturday evening they, accompan ied by L. S. Reddeck, attended the Varsity-Alumni game at the Uni versity of South Carolina, Columbia. The Mark Pitts spent Sunday in Mountville with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Miller.
