Ingle of Cross Hill on Saturday April 18, at eleven o'clock in the morning at the First Baptist Church. Nora Oeland Has "April Fool" Party A novel “April Fool” party was given on Wednesday April 1 by Nora Oeland at which time she entertained twelve friends with a weiner roast at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Oeland on South Adair Street. Guests gathered in the afternoon and a number of amusing and appropriate games and tricks were enjoyed . Later weiners were ’roasted over an outdoor fire and served with other prime foods. Loftis-Bollinger ' Wedding Party Feted Following Rehearsal Mr. and Mrs. Rembert Turiuck entertained the wedding party fol lowing the rehearsal Saturday eve ning for the Loftis Bollinger wed ding in the reception room of the First Baptist Church. Mr. and Mrs. Truluck greeted the guests at the door and Mrs. J. E. Martin invited them to the refreshment table where Mrs. J. H. Darr poured coffee which was served with cake squares carrying out the traditemal green and white, 'and salted nuts. Mr. and Mrs Ward will make their home in Spartanburg Jeanie Glover Celebrates Birthday In celebration of her eleventh birthday Jeanie Glover was hostess to ten girl friends on Friday. Weiners were roasted over an outdoor fire in the yard of her parents home on Missallie Drive. Centering the supper table was the white birthday cake with eleven blue candles. Blakely, vice-presi dent, presided and Mrs. Hubert Todd led the program on “Christian Lit erature. Taking part were Mrs. Marion Nabors, Miss Margaret Blakely, Mrs. C. Bynum Betts, Mrs. George Watte Copeland Mrs. Nolon Carter, historian read a history of the society for the past year. Reports were given by the two secretaries, Mrs. Marion Nabors and Mrs R. L.
