April 6 The meeting will begin at 7:30 p m . in the West End Bap tist Church. Newberry. Dr. Robert S Cooper, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Laurens, will bring the inspirational message. Ministers in the Association who will praticipate on the program are: Rev. Fay Lanford. moderator of Reedy River Association and pastor of of Glenn Street Baptist Church, Newberry; and Rev. Charles Hood, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Whitmire. Special music will be presented by a choir under the direction of Raymond Reed of Whitmire. PC Choir Leaves On Ga. r Fla., Tour The Presbyterian College robed choir will leave Saturday on a ten- day spring tour of Florida and South Georgia. Eight engagements before Pres byterian church congregations are to be filled by the widely acclaim ed choral group during this trip. The choir, conducted by Dr. Ed ouard Patte. will present concerts of sacred music and worship de veloped around the theme, “The Apostle’s Creed.” The first appearances of the tour are set for Sunday, with a morning performance at the Albany (Ga.) Covenant Presbyterian Church, and an evening performance at the Way- cross First Church. Other engage ments on the schedule include: April 6—Bradenton (Fla.) Revival at Sandy Springs Church To Begin April 12 Revival services begin & the Sandy Springs Methodist Church April 12 at 7:30 p. m. ( with the Rev. W. C. Reid conducting the serviced. Mr. Rnd is pastor of the Butler Cir cuit composed of several .Methodist churches near Saluda Mr. Retd is one of the outstanding young minis ters of the South Carolina Confer ence The revival services are being held for the Lydia-Sandy Springs Charge, the two Methodist churches sorved by the Rev. James Williams. The services are befng sponsored by | the Sandy Spnngs Commission on Membership and Evangelism. Mr. Floyd Norwood is chairman of the | commission.
