Sunday following the week-end here with Mrs. Riley and small son. He sails today on the Franklin Delano Roosevelt for ap proximately six months sea duty with the U. S. Navy FASHION SHOW IN THE MAKING ‘‘Swing Into Spring," with the fashion of today and tomorrow at the Fashion Show sponsored by the Lydia and Clinton Woman's Clubs Feb. 27 at the Mercer Bailey School. Tickets are on sale by the mem bers of the clubs and they also may be purchased at the stores partic ipating in the show. Stores taking part and the mod els will be announced later. DEES-VINSON WEDDING Miss Kathleen Dees and Sargeant Carl Vinson, of Whitmire and Fort Jackson, were united in marriage Saturday afternoon at 3 o’clock, January 31 at the Lydia Baptist Church. Rev. Milford J. Sanders, pastor of the bride, performed the cere* mony. Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Dees, Jr., brother and sister-in-law of the bride, attended the couple. For her wedding the bride wore a blue suit with black and white ac cessories. Her corsage was a white orchid. Mrs. Vinson is a nurse at Hays Hospital. She is a graduate of Clin ton High School and the Greenville General Hospital School of Nursing. After this week Sgt. and Mrs. Vin son will reside in Columbia.
