Mr. and Mrs. Van Prater and family, of Camden, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. James Marshall. Oran Nabors spent last week-end in Arlington, Va., with Mr. and Mrs. Grover Adair. He also attended the Furman-Georgo Washington Uni versity football game in Arlington. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Fitzgerald and Kandy, of Spartanburg, spent the week-end with her parents, Rev. and Mrs. Nathan Fleming. Lt. Col. and Mrs. Fred Ross and daughters spent the week-end in Burlington, N. C., with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ross. On Saturday they were in Chapel Hill, N. C., for the North Carolina-South Carolina football game. 0. F. Dennis and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dennis, of Prosperity, Mr. and Mrs. Eric Davis, of Newberry, and Mrs. Cleve Brannon and Duane of Chappells, were Sunday visitors of Mrs. Clara Stroud and Mrs. Beu lah Stroud. Mr. and Mrs. Shuford Lewis visit ed her sister, Mrs. W. H. Wilson, in Ninety Six Sunday. Mrs. Wilson has been ill but is much improved. Mr. and Mrs. John Lee, of the Hurricane community, were Sun day supper guests of Mr and Mrs. John Burnett, Sr. Mrs. J. H. Wallenzine. of Little River Dominick community, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs Fred Bragg. On Sunday Mr and Mrs Bragg, Mrs. Wallenzine. Mrs W N. Minick and Sandra visited Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bragg in Aiken. Oran Nabors, of Greenville, spent the week-end With Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Nabors. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Brady and Durant, of Fairmont, and Mr. and Mrs George Thompson and family, of Kellford, and Rev. Mike Lee and family, of Gray Court, visited Rev. and Mrs. Nathan Fleming during the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. John Burnett; Jr., and Dennis spent the week-end in Atlanta .with her mother, Mrs. Ira Mae Collins. Mr. and Mrs. Hoyt Nobles and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Nobles and chil dren. of Newberry, were Sunday vis itors of Mrs. W. W. Hair. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Cole, Mrs. Bessie Hamm were Saturday sup per guests of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Farmer in Clinton. Among those attending the Textile Exposition in Greenville last Tues day were Mr. and Mrs George Metis, Messrs. Mason, Rowland, Walter Waits, Billy Willingham, Wendell Hair and Avery Bridges. Mr. and Mrs. Everette Mosteller, of Greenville, were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bennett. Mrs. W. B. Kitchens, of Newberry, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. John Burnett, Sr. Mr and Mrs. R. L. Francis. Mrs. Mary Lehman and Steve spent Sun day in Charlotte, N. C. Sunday visitors of Mrs. J. J. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Holsonback and Mrs Elliott Holsonback visited Rev. and Mrs. Phillip Duckett in Union* Sunday. J. C. Longshore and Miss Elinor Longshore, of Greenville, were Fri day overnight guests of Mr and Mrs. Lester Longshore. \ With The Sick Mike Koon received treatment at Joanna Hospital several days last week. \ Sandra Kmard has returned home following a medical stay at the lA- cal hospital. Mrs. Janie Norris is recuperating at her home after receiving treat ment at Joanna Hospital. Mrs. Clara Stroud was a patient at Hays Hospital during the week end. J. K. Johnson was dismissed from the local hospital Sunday following treatment. Carolyn Long underwent an ap pendectomy on Sunday at Joanna Hospital. Gary Shipp underwent surgery on Monday at the local hospital Christine Moseley was a medical patient at the hospital last week. Card -Of Thanks 1 wish to thank all my friends for the cards, visits, phone calls and flowers sent to me while I was a pa tient at the Joanna Hospital.
