Poole. Mr. and Mrs. James F. Leighton and son, Jeff, have returned to their home here on North Adair street after spending the summer in Charleston, W. Va. They vacationed last week at Nags Head, N. C. SP 4 Ray Jackson is spending a leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Weldon T. Jackson. He was formerly stationed at Fort Gordon, Ga., and leaves Saturday for his new asignment at Fort Belvoir, Va. Miss Florence Blakely of Dur ham, N. C., will arrive tomorrow to spend the week with her pa rents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Blake ly. Mrs. E. L. Holland has returned from a several days visit with her daughter, Mrs. James T. Smith and Mr. Smith in Columbia. Jim Kolosky left yesterday to re turn to his home in Uniontown, Pa., after being the guest of Mr. here for a few days, and Mrs. Horace Horton and family Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cauley have moved into their recently purchased home on Caldwell street. Miss Irene Workman and Miss Agnes Davis were week-end guests of the former’s sister-in-law, Mrs. Claude Workman in Marion, N. C.
