Salters. * Ira Whittle, Guy Prater, Gene Bragg, and Ralph Prater attended the Carolina-Duke football game in Columbia Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Godfrey spent the week-end with Mr .and Mrs. Bobby Wright in Columbia. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Young spent Friday and Saturday with relatives in Abbeville and attended the Bi- Centennial activities. % Mrs. Fted Ross and Mrs. E. J. Willingham motored to Atlanta Sun day and were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Howard. Lt Col. Ross arrived in Atlanta Mon day from Korea and was accompa nied home by Mrs. Ross and Mrs. Willingham. Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Buchanan spent the week-end in Columbia with their children, Mrs. Allen Trammell and Johnny Buchanan. They also attended the Carolina- Duke football game. Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Rinehart, Jr, of Batesburg, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Summers and family of Ninety-Six, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Bishop of Clin, ton, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Bishop. Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Craig and Mrs. Met La Stone of Clinton, visited ^ Mrs J. L. Mallard in Columbia last Tuesday. Mrs. Mallard has been quite ill. On the business agenda the group voted to have the playground equip ment repaired, make curtains for the lunch room and to give a cash donation to each classroom.
