Judges for the agriculture, poul try and livestock departments were selected several weeks ago. Those planning exhibits shouldl see that the best quality products be displayed. Each person expect ing to have an exhibit should se cure a premium book to see the listing and money premiums avail able. Each year it’ is heard by various people observing the various exhib its, comments such as, “I should have brought an exhibit as I have that good or better.” That kind of comment is of no value to the judge as he can only judge exhibits plac od.on exhibit at the proper time. Some of the livestock producers are now getting their naimals ready for the show. It is hoped that the livestock barn will bv filled with cattle. 4-H Poultry Sale It is reminded that the 4-H poul try club members will sell 120 to 130 purebred Harco red pullets at public auction, Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Laurens county fair grounds at 10:00 a. m. The birds have been treated for worms and vaccinated against fowl pox. _ Some of the birds are now laying, and others will be in production in the near future. Those buying poul try are to furnish coops. All sales will be cash at the time of sale. The prize money for the stow is furnished by the Sears-Roebuck Foundation. The money from the sale will be used to purchase baby chicks for 4-H club members in pouutry projects next year. Feeder Calf Sale Friday The cooperative fall feeder calf sale will be held in Cheenwood on Friday, Sl'pt. 13.
