The Jaycees have organized a Boosters ( tub to promote the sale of tickets to nine games to be played on the college field, sis lor the hish school and three for the college. They state they are receiving a good response from the public. The tickets, if sold individual, would amount to $13.00. but the-Jaycees are offering them at a combined price of $10.00. They were welcomed by Creek- land Farm. Manager Walter Shu man. Special guests introduced in cluded prof. R. R. Richey, Clemson College; John. Wise. Extension Ser vice, Clemson CbUege; M L. Outz, Assistant Laurens County Agent; and Miss Emily Bailey, South Caro lina Shorthorn Lassie Queen An interesting and educational demonstration on feeding of show ! and sale cattle was given by Lar ry Seaman, manager of Suber's Gay Plantation, of Whitmire. Bob Heine, Southeastern field man for the Shorthorn Association, gave a type demonstration showing de sirable characteristics in breeding cattle A judging contest was a highlight of the day with prizes going to the following; Men's division—first, N B. Dulin, of Bowling Green; second Ed Hannah, of Hodges; third, Joe Broyles, of Townville. Women's di vision—first, Mrs. Johnny Jenkins; second, Mrs. C. Y. McCants, of Cameron; third, Mrs. W. E. After operating two or three days schedules will be set up and the students who ride school buses can expect the buses at their stops at the same time each morning. Parents and students are requested to be patient in this re spect and to cooperate by meeting the school bus on time. It is im portant that the school buses run on schedule. Colonel Fraser has served the past three years in G1 Division at Headquarters, United States Army, Europe, in Heidelberg, Germany.
