Kindergarten Commencement Tonight Th,e Lydia-Clinton Kindergar ten commencement program will be given tonight at 8:00 p. m. at Providence school. Around eighteen little folk will graduate from Kindergarten. The public is cordially invited to attend the program. Scouts Enjoy Weiner Roast Troop 90, Boy. Scouts, of Lydia Mills, enjoyed a weiner roast on Tuesday evening of last week at Greenwood'slate park. David H. Roberts was host to the twenty-two scouts and seven adult leaders. GA Focus Week The Intermediate Girls’ Auxil iary of the Lydia Baptist church will observe Focus Week next week. During the week they will be recognized at church together on Sunday and Wednesday, do community work, study on For ward Steps, and on Friday eve ning the girls will entertain, their mothers with a party. ’ Kitchen Shower and Program Tonight The Martha Franks and Oma- thine Dabbs circles of the Lydia Baptist church Woman's Mission ary Society will meet Thursday (tonight) at 7:30 p. m. at the church for the regular programs. A kitchen shower for the church kitchen will be held fol lowing the program. All ladies of the church are invited to attend and to bring some article for the church kitch en. Little Jean Blackwell, daughter at Mr. and Mrs. George Black- well, has returned home and is doing fine after eight weeks of serious illness at the General hos pital in Spartanburg.
