T Thursday, April 4,1957 Mr. Thompsdn saiid that the ex ecutive committee of the board of directors) has spent considerable time studying and correcting de ficiencies pointed out by the State Board of Health. Most of them, he said, were minor. Mr. Thompson also stated that the executive committee had met with the medical staff and dis cussed with them the improve ment of physical facilities at the hospital, and an adequate pay scale for personnel more nearly in line with other hospitals. ‘The other board members and I desire to work closely with the medical staff in a joint effort to eventually provide Laurens county with a hospital of which all its citizens will be proud,” Mr. Thompson declared, Mr. Thompson explained that the funds available for the pro gram are limited but the . board hopes to use the existing finan cial resources of the hospital to accomplish their aims. -. i Named 16 head the two Clinton High School publications for the 1957-58 school year are the six girls shown above.
