Crawford Heaton, 77.. died Saturday morning at Hays hos pital after several years of de clining health. He was a native of Georgia, but had made h-is home in Clinton for 23 years. He attended the Church of God on Elizabeth street. Surviving are three sons and one daughter, L. C., E. E., and C. C. Heaton, all of Clinton; and Mrs. C. L. Malone, of Clinton; three brothers, and two sisters. Bob Heaton, of Virginia; Ral eigh Heaton, of California: Ben Heaton, of Georgia; Mrs. Paula ! Chipwood, of Royston, Ga.; anH Mrs. Pearl Giles, of Douglasville, Ga.; 29 grandchildren and 30 1 great-grandchildren Funeral services were conduct ed Monday afternoon at 4 o’clock at the Church of God by the Rev. C. E., Landrith and the Rev. E. D. Johnson. Burial was in Roserriontj cemetery. Grandsons were pallbearers. K. E. Meadors Passes Funeral services for Kevin Eu gene Meadors, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Meadors, were conducted Monday morning at 11 o’clock at the graveside in Cal vary cemetery by the Rev. J P. Roquemore. --- Surviving are his parents, three sisters, Sandra. Shelia and Kareh Meadors, all of the home, and the maternal grandparents.^ Mr. and Mrs. W. H.
