Miss Frances O’Daniel who teaches in Salisbury, N. C., is with Ijer parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. O’Daniel for the holidays. Yes terday Mrs. G. E. McGraw, of Camden, Dr. John O’Daniel, of Gaffney, and Dr. George ODan- iel, of Spartanburg, joined the family here. Visiting their parents, th e Rev. and Mrs. George H. Hodges, dur ing the holidays were: Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hodges and children, of Myrtle Beach; Mr. and • Mrs. George H. Hodges, Jr., and chil dren, of Spartanburg. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Freeland, of Middleburg, Ky., will arrive tonight for a few days visit with lier parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Thomas, after attending the wed ding of Miss Nan Long in Bel mont, N. C., this evening. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Reeves, of Honea Path, and Jim Regves, of New~ York, spent Tuesday with their daughter and sister, Mrs. W. M. Hughes and Mr. Hughes. Mr. and Mrs. Gene McMullan and daughter, Nan, were guests during the holidays of Mr. and' Mrs. Harry A Bauknight, Jr., in North Augusta. Miss Ellen Fraser, student at King college, Bristol, Tenn. is at home for the Christmas' season with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. T. Layton Fraser. The Frasers vis ited relatives in Hinesville, Ga., several days this week. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hitt and daughter, Gwen, Mr. and Mrs. Pierce Chandler were guests Tuesday of Mrs. Hitt’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Price, in Newberry. Mrs. J. W. White, of Newberry, /and Miss Elizabeth White, of i Charlotte N. C., visited their daughter and sister, Mrs. T. C. Johnson, and Mr. Johnson during the holidays. Lt. and Mrs. George H. Cornel- son left yesterday after a few days stay with the former’s grnadmother, Mrs. Emma B. Cor- nelson, to visit the latter’s par ents in Raleigh, N. C., before re turning to Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio. Miss Catherine Eichelberger, of Columbia, spent Christmas here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Eichelberger. Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Felknor, of Knoxville, Tenn., and Miss Merle > Hodges, of Morristown, Tenn., are guests for a few days of Mrs. E. M. Felknor Jr., and Mrs. Frank Miller. Mrs. A. O’Daniel is visiting her son, Dr. James O’Daniel, and family in Dublin, Ga. Dr. and Mrs. W. R. Turner, their son and daugher, Hill and Susan, are guests of relatives in Winston-Salem and Greensboro, N. C., this week. M. P. and W. R. Corbett, of Columbia, were guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Corbett. , Mrs. Karl Espieg left Monday by plane for Hermosa Beach. Christmas day they were joined here by other mem bers of the family from Gilbert. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis S. Hay left Monday for a visit with relatives in Charleston and Columbia. Mrs., James Pitts Miss Rosa Scar borough, Misses Jackie and Sara Pitts were guests Tuesday of their brother and uncle, Julian H. Scar borough and family in Bishop- ville. Dr. Lee Blakely returned Mon day to Bolling Field, Washington. D. C., after a few days’ visit here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Blakely.
