Christmas Program Tonight The Lydia Methodist church will have the Christmas tree with fruit and gifts to. be given out by Santa tonight at 7:00 o’clock. There will also be a Christmas film, “The Spirit of Christmas,” shown. This is being sponsored by the Sunday school of the church. Rev. E. Austin Wilkes is pas tor, and invites the public to this Christmas program. Receives Discharge Robert Gary Wallace, son of Mr. and. Mrs. Harry Wallace ar rived home Thursday following 18 months service in Fountain- bleau, France, with the U. . S. Army. Mr. Wallace received his dis charge at ForJ Hamilton, N. Y. Pentecostal Holiness Church Chrstmas Program The public is invited to the Pentecostal Holiness church Sat urday evening at 7 o’clock for the Christmas program. There will be a short play, “The Tree of Remembering.” Also children’s recitations and carol singing. Rev. James Bryant is pastor of the church. Son Honored With Party Mr. and Mrs. Frank Goss hon ored their son, Gary, with a party celebrating his 12th birthday at their home Saturday evening. Christmas decorations adorned the receiving rooms. Twelve of Gary's 'friends joyed the evening of games, con tests and party refreshments con sisting of cold drinks, sandwich es and cookies. Gary was remembered with gifts from the guests. The supper was served buffet from a lovely appointed table centered With a gold sleigh of fruit and gerenery with red light ed candles on either side. The guests found their places ait small tables in the living room beside the beautifully lighted tree. Following supper games were enjoyed before the gifts were dis tributed.
