Also guests of the Leakes during the week-end were Mrs. Ernest Gault and Mrs. Hubert Hendricks, of Fountain Inn. A. C. Young, Jr., and Bailey Dixon attended the Institute of Textile. Technology at Char lottesville, Va., several dayl last week. Mrs. W. L. Marshall, of Wades- boro, N. C., was the guest of Mrs. W. L. Marshall, Jr., for the Thanksgiving holidays. Miss Eloise Marshall, student at Sweet Briar College, Va., spent the holi days at home. 5 Mrs. George Quinley, Mrs. ohn Zapf and son, Bill, of Woos ter, Ohio, spent the holidays here with their granddaughter and daughter, Mrs. Victor McIntyre, and Mr. McIntyre. * Mrs. John W. Finney, Sr., and Mrs. Louie Thorn ley returned Tuesday from a several days visit at Myrtle Beach with Mr. and Mrs. Mac Finney. On Sunday they were accompanied to Myrtle Beach by the Finney children who had spent the holidays here. Mrs. Heide Trask, of Wilming ton, N. C., and dai^ghter, Mrs. Gil liam Wood, of Edenton, N. C., have returned to their homes after a visit with Mrs. Lee Hunter and family. O., T. McDaniel, of Fayette ville, N. C., recently visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. W. Mc Daniel and family. He was ac companied to Asheville, N. C., for a visit with his brotherin-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Coker by Mr. and Mrs. McDaniel and Mr. and Mrs. Joe McDaniel who also visited the Cokers for the week-end. Mrs. Dudley Jones, who has been with her daughter, Mrs. Charles Raynal, in Clemson, is spending some time with her daughter, Mrs' B. Hubert Boyd, and Mr. Boyd. Guests of the Boyds for Thanksgiving were Rev. and Mrs. Raynal and sons, Mrs. Edward Brailsford, Miss Katherine and Edward Brails ford, Mr. and Mrs Lucien Brails ford, of Charleston; Mrs. Louise J DuBose, Mr. and Mrs. . Erskine Betts and daughter, and Miss El eanor Halsey, of Columba. Mrs. A. W. Hanley, of Tampa, Fla., is vsiiting her brother, Tom E. Addison, Mrs. Addison, and other relatives here. Mrs. John Addison has return- e home for a few days stay from Bowing Green, Fla., where she has been with her mother, Mrs. William Cliatt, who is seriously ill. Rev. and Mrs. J. E.
