The 81st was organized at Co lumbia in August of 1917 where it entered training at Camp Jack- son during World War I. The di vision was later moved to Camp Sevier at Greenville, where strength of 30,000 men were in ducted into service and trained and Later gave a good account of itself in France. The 81st of World War II train ed at Camp Rucker, Ala., and saw service in the Southwest Pacific and the occupation of Japan. Friday-Saturday .
