P«ffc Two /• f THE CLINTON CTOMBCLE \; LITTLE BOYS LEAGUE The lions Little Boysjfeana gets hotter by the week These boys, under the guidance of Coach Har^ ry Nettles, have' had several close games this season but they are still undefeated in 16 games with four regular scheduled games to be played. The Moose club is in sec ond place with three defeats and the Kiwanis club wifti four de feats. The Kiwanis club suffered a terrific blow about ten days ago when their best pitcher and the leading pitcher in the Little Boys league, Jimmy Campbell, fractured his arm. Th^ Little Boys, Small Tvs, Pony League, and Beginners will not have any regular scheduled gafcnes the week of July 4. Instead some of the Little Boys trying out for the' all-star team will play Laurens Little Boys at Laurens in Stevens park at 4 p m. on July 2 and 5 and at Clinton Tuesday, July 3 and Friday, July 6, at 8 p. m. A large crowd is expected to attend these games. Coach Harry Nettles will coach these boys for the games against Laurens since his team is on top at this time. Eddie Madden , of the Moose j club has taken the lead away from Gus Folk of the Kiwanis dub in ! ' batting average. Each boys has * led eight weeks apiece.
