I. Bailey and Mrs. Alicp Grace. Mrs. Glenn Gsakins and Chil dren, Priscilla, Frankie, and Da vid spent Thanksgiving with her pamets, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Staggs in Laurens. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hughes and duaghter, and Mrs. H. H. Dalton visited Mrs. Hughes’ par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Cool ey, in Belton Sunday. Mrs. Jim Dean and children, Heyward, Melda and Jimmy, visited Mr. Dean at the Veterans hospital in Columbia Sunday. Friends will be glad to know Mr. Dean is much improved and will soon return home. Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Black and children of Greenwood, vis ited Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Black, Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Black, Sr., in the Hurricane community during the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. David Manning and children, Barbara and Billy, of Anderson, spent Sunday with the former’s sister, Mrs. E. C. Burdette, and Mr. Burdette. Mr.' and Mrs. Glenn Gaskins and children were Sunday guests of the former’s mother, Mrs. J. F. Gaskins, in Rock Hill. Mrs. Claude Willard, Billy, Linda Lou and Peggy Sue Wil lard and Barbara Thomas were visitors in Spartanburg Monday. W. E. McGinnis and sister, Mrs. G. W. Alexander, of Pelzer, spent Sunday with the fromer’s daughter, Mrs. Ira Bailey and Mr. Bailey. Mr. and Mrs. John Gallman of Clinton, were dinner guests of the Baileys Thanksgiv ing Day. . Bennie Hughey of Furman University, Greenville, spent the Thanksgiving holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Hughey. Mrs. Sam Hairston and chil dren, Sandra, Bruce and Joe, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. C. S. James in Woodruff. Mrs. I. S. Parker of Paw Creek, N. C., has returned to her home after a few days visit with her brother, Fred Bodie, and Mrs. Bodie. Miss Karen Wilson of Laurens, spent the week-end with her ^ cousin, Miss Franceen Smith. Sunday afternoon they accom panied Mrs. Paul Wilson, Mrs. Juanita Chasteen and daughter of Laurens, to Chester where Jhey visited their aunt, Mrs. Em mie McManus.
