Counties in the contest are Ab beville, Greenwodo, McCormick, Edgefield, Saluda, Lexington, Calhoun, Richland, Orangeburg, Allendale, Bamberg, Hampton, Beaufort, Jasper, Barnwell and Aiken. The pastures were outstanding demonstrations and convincing evidence that Coastal Bermuda grass is the grass for livestcok producers, he said. “If Laurens county livestock producers could have made this trip and seen the pastures that! were in the contest, I’m sure there would be hundreds of acres of that type of grass planted in this county next spring.” Brown To Attend Education Board Meet —♦— President Marshall W.
