Mr. and Mrs. George Finning spent Friday in Wake Forest, NL C., and the remainder of the week-md with Rev. and Mrs. A. L. Parker in Greensboro, N. C. Their son, Ray, stayed with his grandfather, C. T. Fleming near Belton, over the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Williams and daughter, of Newberry, were week-end guests of the former's father, H W. Williams, and Mm. Birthday Party Enjoyed On Tuesday evening of last week Miss Linda Patterson was honored with a birthday party celebrating her 13th birthday. There were 28 young people present to enjoy the games and fun. Mrs. Bill Pitterson and Miss Peggy Patterson, Linda’s mother and slater, served party refresh ments to the (roup. The group en joyed games and contests be fore refreshments of cupcakes, potato chips, candy and drinks were served by the counselors, Mrs. E. C. Burdette and Mrs. Clyde Trammell.
